LaTeX Decimal Points Alignment (with dcolumn)

This page is created to help align the decimal points in LaTeX tables.

I tried to make it as simple as possible.

Basically, you just copy your table here. My program will convert the table and help you to align the decimal points.

\begin{table} \renewcommand{\arraystretch}{1.3} \caption{Simple Table} \label{tab:example} \centering \begin{tabular}{cc} \hline Heading One & Heading Two\\ \hline 3.542 & 123.1020***\\ \hline -0.00293 & 10.2011***\\ \hline \end{tabular} \end{table}

After you click submit, a new table will be available for your to copy and paste.

To Demonstrate the effect, the example code above will produce the following table:

And after the conversion, the table will be like this (Note how the decimal points are aligned):

This service is provided "as is", which means I'm not responsible for any loss of data. (Well, you won't lose data just by uploading the file. Make sure you do not overwrite your original file when you download.)
